Tough surfski day in Gran Canaria

Yesterday we plan the Vault to me, lucky for me we change this the last minutes before we start. We were eight guys today and all elite paddlers so if i could go in the Blast (what a fantastic ski this is) they could have a hard training session. The Waves were even bigger today, smaller windwaves up to 1-1,5 meter that we could surf away from land in and then sometimes massive swell that was going in angled to the shore. If it was technical yesterday, wow it was event more technical today. After the first one two  km i started to wonder if i could make it today. The ride yesterday was hard as a pushed us a bit to much sometimes. It was close that i told Alberto in the front that this will be to tough. But we got some small waves going out from the marina and it felt better and better, Alberto give me instructions all the time. So i started to relax checking my puls after a while and it was still only 150. When we got out to the sea the pulse riced but then the adrenalin tok over and we started to ride seriousely. Before we got out Alberto told me that we gonna be the fastest today, i didnt belive him and laughed at this ”joke”. It wasnt a joke… Mostly because of the Waves, we had easier to take the long big ones than the guys in the singles. In the beggining all worked fine and we surfed and linked all the time. But the last 5-6 km i was completely finnished. No synk, no balance, wobbling the boat my body didnt react. When it was three km left we lined up for some short races and adrenalin helped me a little but the nice linking and nice moves that we done before was gone because of my bad performance, though with hard work the others still have problem to beat us.
